I’m an open-minded Ph.D. research scientist turned scientific and medical writer. I've been in the drug discovery business for over a decade and explored different fields including protein biochemistry, antibiotics, microbiome therapeutics, and host-microbe interactions, with a focus on immunology.
Writing is an inherent part of scientific work, be it publications, posters, presentations, reports or white papers summarizing literature.
I've recently subcontracted to work for 2 different medical and scientific communication companies working on manuscripts for subjects as diverse as heart surgery and biomarker use as a predictive technology. As a freelancer, I have worked proofreading and checking for scientific clarity and accuracy of website landing pages and marketing emails.
I've also written more informally on bitesizebio.com (here is a link to one of my articles) and over the years on this blog.
